Position Title: Safety Manager

Position Type: Full-Time

Location: Englewood Cliffs, NJ

Main Responsibilities:

• Fluency in Korean and English.
• Site Safety Oversight: Supervise daily operations to ensure adherence to all safety protocols during equipment installation.
• Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Conduct hazard assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with OSHA, local safety codes, and company policies.
• Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into accidents or near-misses and implement corrective actions.
• Safety Training & Awareness: Provide ongoing safety training for workers and subcontractors.
• Emergency Preparedness: Develop response plans and conduct drills for fire, electrical, and equipment-related emergencies.
• Contractor Management: Ensure third-party vendors adhere to established safety standards.
• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed records of safety inspections, incidents, and compliance audits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise site safety during installation of AGVs, robotic systems, and warehouse equipment.
• Conduct hazard assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure full compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.
• Lead investigations into incidents and recommend corrective measures.
• Provide training to workers and subcontractors on safety procedures.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness plans and drills.
• Monitor third-party contractor safety adherence.
• Maintain detailed safety reports and audit documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant safety experience in manufacturing or automation environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and risk management.
• Proven leadership skills in enforcing workplace safety.
• Willingness to travel frequently for site management.

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications: CSP, CHST, OSHA 30, or OSHA 510.
• Experience with automated systems (AGVs, conveyors, robotic equipment).
• Fluency in Korean and English is a plus.
• Experience managing large equipment logistics and commissioning.
