Position Details:
1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 3:00pm
Your Expertise: \n - 1-3 years' experience in aerospace metallurgical laboratory (Test Piece Prep and Evaluation)
\n - Organized and methodical with strong multi-tasking skills, scheduling and time organization skills
\n - Ability to work in a challenging and production schedule-driven environment
\n - Proficient in math and computing skills
\n

Your Challenge: \n - Perform metallurgical, mechanical and chemical lab testing, providing oversight of chemical processes
\n - Control and maintain documentation of all related procedures and processes in several different databases and hard copy files while performing routine laboratory procedures such as sample preparation and laboratory testing
\n

\n - Prepare, inspect, test and analyze metallographic samples to determine if they meet blue print and customer specifications
\n - Conduct wet chemical analysis such as titrations and other instrumental methods to ensure that in-house chemical processing tanks and etchants have the correct chemical balances
\n - Control and manage lab reports, records and documentation in compliance with document retention regulations. Maintain laboratory inventory of supplies and reagents.

- In addition to Lab Technician duties, cross training will be required to learn and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent required.
\n
