(PPM), is an Environmental Consulting Firm with multiple offices across the Southeastern United States. Our Birmingham, Alabama office is seeking an energetic and career orientated Engineer or Geologist (0 to 2 years of experience) to join our team. The position is responsible for completing field and office efforts including collecting environmental samples (air/water/soil/sediment); installing soil borings/monitoring wells; installing various types of remediation systems; oversight of subcontractors; and assisting with data evaluation and report preparation. Responsibilities also include environmental compliance assistance for a wide range of commercial, industrial, and governmental clients. Job Requirements Candidates should have: the ability to safely work independently and in teams while consistently following specific instructions and guidelines; effective communication skills, both verbal and written; exceptional diligence; and a clear driving record. Travel is required to specific project sites. Candidates should also be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel, at a minimum. This position requires a BS degree in Engineering or Geology from an accredited University.
