Job Title: Electrical Mechanic

Job Description

As an Electrical Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in executing electrical installations on commercial projects. You will be responsible for tasks such as bending pipe with a hand bender (including 90's, 45's, offsets, saddles), troubleshooting panels, pulling wire and BX cable, and reading blueprints and installing outlets, switches and devices. You will work on a variety of projects such as office spaces, health and wellness centers, and recreation centers.

Responsibilities

• Bend pipe with a hand bender to create necessary angles and offsets.
• Troubleshoot electrical panels to identify and resolve issues.
• Pull wire and BX cable according to project requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installation.
• Run and hang pipe, making necessary bends to accommodate obstructions.
• Work independently or with a helper to complete tasks efficiently.
• Ensure all work aligns with project specifications and safety standards.
• Address and resolve any electrical problems on-site.

Essential Skills

• Experience as an Electrician 6+ years minimum
• Proficiency in bending commercial pipe and working with BX cable.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical problems.
• Knowledge of smoke alarms, panels, EMT, and conduit.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification.
• Proficiency electrical tools.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
